A key part of ReliaTech’s program is refurbishing computers. These machines, which are put through a rigorous 25-step process, are then distributed to low-income individuals, schoolchildren, churches, schools, senior centers and other institutions in our community for re-use. We rely on local individuals and companies to help us with this program by donating their out-of-service computers and computer-related equipment.
ReliaTech is an approved collector of electronic waste (#100968) under the SB20 regulations of the State of California. That means we handle any e-waste left with us properly according to the state’s laws and regulations.
We accept any sort of e-waste except large appliances. What can be reused is refurbished or repaired and placed back in service. We recycle the rest under strict procedures that assure that nothing goes to landfill and that no toxics are exported.
